The galley is well designed with an oven and three burner units, and provides good
shelf/table space when not in use.
We are guessing she does about 26 miles to a gallon, and has a van battery and
a leisure battery. She only likes to drink Diesel. The van can be electrically or
gas heated, and can plug into the electric mains via a cable.
Martha likes to welcome you by putting out her electric operated steps but there
is a healthy buzzer if you try to drive off with them out!
She’s got a good size wardrobe and a large storage area under the aft bunk beds
(externally accessible – could get 3 bikes in there – but why would you when she
can carry five bikes off the back end- bike rack included.
She’s got a small TV and DVD player and an immobiliser and a few nonstandard extra
All this German ingenuity is cradled in a sturdy Ducato 5 gear, 2.8 litre diesel
chassis/drive train unit.
She’s a right-hand drive Hymer Swing, first registered in 2002.
She accommodates a maximum of 6 (sleeping and belted travelling seats)
Family friendly layout (two in bunks at the back end, a double above the driving
compartment and another double converted from the Dining area – with mattress extension
from “honeymoon to double”)
She’s got a big awning and side panels and a modesty skirt!
She is very coy about her black water, with the professional cassette system (accessed
from outside the Van). Grey water goes into a separate soak away pipe.
